ACCOUNT MANAGER, PERSONAL INSURANCE
FULL TIME, ANY OFFICE LOCATION
Position Overview:
Carey, Richmond & Viking is one of the leading independent insurance agencies in southern New England. We are a 3rd generation family-owned insurance agency with thousands of clients in New England and throughout the US. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Personal Lines team.
Responsibilities Include:
Ability to underwrite and issue new and renewal policies.
Professional written and oral interactions with clients and carrier personnel
Collaborate with underwriters to successfully retain business and identify/react to opportunities to insure retention.
Ability to identify other inside sales opportunities.
Work closely with Sales Executives
Answer billing inquiries and process endorsement requests
Possess technical insurance knowledge to be able to properly advise clients.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Insurance or customer service experience required.
Excellent phone etiquette & friendly demeanor
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Complete work timely, strong attention to detail, ability to multitask.
Computer savvy and can learn new systems quickly.
Account Manager must obtain a RI Producer’s license within 3 months of employment.
