Position Overview:

To provide quote assistance for the Personal Lines Account Managers and Sales Executives. Assist the sales team with reaching their monthly sales goals by supporting the administrative tasks after a policy is quoted. The PL Support Administrator will handle the file from acceptance to issuance.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Underwrite and quote new and renewal business policies for placement

  • Assist producer with DocuSign related to completed applications.

  • When the DocuSignis first sent out, sales support will call the client to advise that it has been sent.

  • Provide flood waiver and home/fire/auto waivers to client, if not already obtained.

  • Assist with obtaining alarm certifications and good student driver certificates, if applicable.

  • In an effort to assist with managing workload and forecasting, change prospect to contracted in EPIC and detail the policy screen from NBQ to NEW at the time the applications are received.

  • Contact bank representative to obtain mortgagee clause and loan number

  • Send out Evidence of Insurance (EOI) to bank

  • Follow up and confirm closing

  • Bind policies, make payments, and confirm payments post to avoid policies cancelled.

  • SBAS (Application Submitted to Carrier for Download) activity

  • Enter New Client Onboarding Activity (NCOB)

  • Assist with the DocuSign of LPR’s (Loss of Policy Release) If an LPR has never been received by prior agent, send one additional copy if requested by insured.

  • Assist with the DocuSign of BOR’s (Broker of Record): set a follow up activity for PL Account Technician PRIOR to renewal to make sure BOR was received, and status stays as BOR.

  • Assist with completing Registration and Title Application (RTA) forms for clients

  • Assist with the receipt of 2A forms. If a customer didn’t receive a 2A form back, outreach on behalf of the client to resolve is required.

  • Assist Account Managers with sending Evidence of Insurance (EOI) and completing policy changes should time permit.

  • Assist with closing opportunities that are sold only. “Not sold” should go back to the producer to set for future follow up.

  • Check client record in EPIC to see if we obtained email and best number to call. If missing, reach out to sales producer for them to obtain.

  • Maintain a cheerful attitude while answering all inbound calls and addressing customer or sales team needs

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Experience working in an office environment

  • Prior experience with Applied Epic a plus

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to work in a fast-paced office and be a quick learner

  • Must be able to multi-task and be a team player

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Must be able to prioritize and have great time management skills

  • Must have solid computer skills and have good phone etiquette

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and friendly speaking voice

  • Demonstrated ability to assist sales team with any additional work as needed with a can-do attitude.
